Electronic fan speed controller with Thermal protection inputs- EFSC-TK

£ 45.07 (excl. VAT)

£ 54.08 (inc. VAT)

A range of Electronic Fan Speed Controllers designed for speed controllable single phase motors up to 10 amps.
The EFSC3-TK,6-TK & 10TK all have an illuminated on/off rocker switch and a stepless rotary knob for speed adjustment.
These controllers have TP/TK connections, any fan motors with these connections available should use controllers like this with TK connections. Otherwise use the EFSC without TK.

EFSC-TK Range Features
• All models supplied with surface mount backing box
• Minimum & Maximum speed internal pre-set adjusters on all models
• Suitable for 2 or 3 wire control
• Electronic stepless speed control
• Easy to install

Notes for engineers: If wanting to use 3 wire control, the capacitor will have to be disconnected from Live and fed to the Aux on the EFSC instead. (If the motor is supplied in this configuration, which is normally the case.)
This is a controlled Live controller. If the capacitor is connected to Neutral on the motor (controlled Neutral configuration) and you want to use 3 wire connection, U1 & U2 will have to be reversed for the fan to run in the correct direction.
3 wire control gives better starting torque, less heat generation and is preferred in all respects.

If in doubt use the 2 wire connection the the fan, as described in the instructions.
