    Casing
    To ensure a long lasting and robust construction this fan has an all metal fan casting and guard. The unit is constructed from a single sheet steel. Both motors and axial impellers are mounted within the length of the unit casing. All casing parts are of heavy gauge mild sheet steel, that is roll formed, welded then hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 after fabrication.

    Motors
    Motors according to Gas Zone, ignition temperature and protection to EX II 2G x IIC T4 X.

    Impellers
    The adjustable pitch aerofoil impellers include blades that are made from a high quality carbon filled anti-static material. To provide maximum performance the impellers are factory set to an angle. The hubs are made from die cast aluminuim alloy (LM24). Assembled impellers are dynamically balanced to ISO 14694 Grade G6.3

    Quality Management
    The units are designed and made with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001:2008. All ATEX units are to be tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2:1985 (sound performance).
