Casing
This unit is made from self-supporting corrosion-resistant extruded aluminuium section. Straight through air flow as standard, however the discharge position can be changed on site. To prevent duct leakage the inlet and outlet panels include circular spigots with integral U-shaped ozone and UV stable EPDM rubber seals. This unit is assembled with shock resistant fibreglass rienforced Polyamide PA6 corners, it also includes 25mm thick double skinned removable corners that are made from pre-galvanised steel. To minimise breakout noise the panels are filled with a non flamable mineral wool, 60Kg/m3.

Motors
The Three phase multi-voltage IP55 TEFC Foot / Flange mounted IEC frame motors are wound for either (Delta) 230V/3Ph/50Hz or (Star) at 400V/3Ph/50Hz connection. These motors are suitable for speed control when used with the Elta drive VSD range of frequency inverter controls. Motors are pre-wired to an IP55 terminal box mounted on the side to allow easy costomer connection.

Impellers
The welded steel impellers are highly efficient they have a backward curve and non-overloading power characteristic, finished in a Ultramarine blue (RAL 5002) with a powder coating for greater surface protection. The impellers are dynamically balanced to G2.5 / G6.3 according to ISO 1940 part 1.

Quality Management
The units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001:2008. All SQU units are tested to ISO 5801:2007 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2:1985 (sound performance).
