Casing
This fan has an all metal casing and guard, giving it a long lasting and robust construction. The unit has been made from mild steel and is suitably treated to provide full corrosion protection. The guard is finished in a black (RAL 9005) powder coated polyester epoxy paint. Fan casings are finished in a pastel beige (RAL 7032) powder coated polyester epoxy paint.

Motors
As standard the units will have either an AC or EC external fitted rotor motor. The motor will have sealed for life bearings. Thermal class of motors to THCL 130 or 155 depending on the size. Manufactured by Ziehl-Abegg giving the unit increased reliabilty. The motor is suitable for use in ambient air conditions up to +60°C. An IP55 terminal box provides the electrical connection to the motor.

Impellers
The low tonal noise backward curved centrifugal impeller is highly efficeient and dynamically balanced to ISO 14694 Grade G6.3. The impeller is directly driven to the motor to give a smooth airflow through the unit.

Quality Management
Units are designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001:2008. All SCC units are testeed to ISO 5801:2007 (airside performance) and BS 848 Part 2:1985 (sound performance).
