Egg-crate grilles have a 13mm x 13mm square core and with their high free area are ideal for many applications, the egg crate grille with removable core has been fabricated to fit a commercial grade mesh type grease filter suitable for kitchen extraction. The egg crate grille with filter can be flush mounted into a wall / ceiling creating a very subtle and aesthetically pleasing extraction hood.

COMES WITH METAL GRILL BOX with spigot on top or side for connection to remote extractor fan via ducting, (see picture).
The standard height of the plenum box is 100mm for a top entry spigot but with side entry will be 50-100mm more then the spigot size.
The plenum box is normally mounted in the ceiling space, you only see the grille.

Mesh type filters are designed for use in commercial kitchens and ventilation from food preparation areas where their primary function is to reduce grease travelling from the cooking area up into the extract duct.
