Due to its size and motor power, Ropera fans are suitable for most low volume low to medium pressure ducted applications. These are typically found as boost fans within long duct runs and trickle extract fans due to the nature of them moving the air inline with the axis of the impeller. It has a light weight yet durable construction and are designed to fit directly into spiral ductwork for a quick installation. Due to the lower flow rates and pressure, tube fans have very low noise levels making them ideal for installation into ceiling voids.

The EC version of the Ropera tube fan is only available with a steel casing but is available in the same range of circular connection spigot sizes, from 100mm up to 355mm diameter and covers a range of duties up to 0.56 cubic meters per second flow rate and 640 pascals. The units are fitted with high efficiency EC (electronically commutated) motors which are IP44 rated and suitable for 50Hz and 60Hz operation. The speed is infinitely variable via a 0-10V switch signal.
